XLPE Power Cables (Copper & Aluminum)

S.K. ELECTRICALS XLPE insulated power cables are engineered for reliable energy transmission across single and multi-core systems. Made with high-conductivity copper conductors, cross-linked polyethylene insulation, and flame-retardant PVC sheath, they ensure durability and performance in fixed installations such as buildings, tunnels, and pipelines. Rated at 600/1000V and 90°C, available in sizes from 1.5mm² to 95mm² for both single and 3 core options.

Overview

Single-core XLPE-insulated cables are constructed with plain annealed solid or stranded circular copper conductors, XLPE insulation, and a flame-retardant PVC sheath. These cables are also referred to as CU/XLPE/PVC 0.6/1000V cables and comply with AS 5000.1, IEC 60502, and BS7889 standards.

S.K. ELECTRICALS offers high-quality single-core cables in the following sizes: 1.5 mm², 2.5 mm², 4 mm², 6 mm², 10 mm², 16 mm², 25 mm², 35 mm², 50 mm², 70 mm², and 95 mm².

XLPE-insulated 3-core power cables are primarily used in low-voltage power transmission and distribution. These cables meet the IEC 60502 and BS7889 standards, with CU/XLPE/PVC 0.6/1KV specifications. Circular conductors are used for sizes below 16 mm², while shaped conductors are applied for sizes 35 mm² and above.

This type of triple-core cable is ideal for connecting appliances like lamps or extension cables to power outlets. The three cores represent Live, Earth, and Neutral.
